The quality of the abrasives used for your tools is a key factor for the quality of your grinding results. Choosing the right sanding sheet for your delta sander or multi-disc sander is therefore crucial. MioTools offers a variety of premium quality sanding paper types that can be used with any commercial brand delta sander or multi-disc sander.
Depending on the medium, i.e. the grain type, these sanding paper types are optimised for their various areas of application. A zirconium aluminium oxide or fused aluminium oxide grain abrasive will be your best choice for wood grinding. Paints, varnishes and plastics are best sanded with silicon carbide or aluminium oxide with stearate. For metal grinding, we recommend abrasives with zirconium aluminium oxide.
Each type of sanding sheet is available in a range of grit sizes from G24 to G400. Rule of thumb: the smaller the grit size, the coarser the grind.

Delta sanders for the tricky jobs
Because of its shape, delta sanders are also known as detail (or triangular) sanders. They are ideal to reach corners and edges. The small size of a delta grinder allows a very intensive grinding of small areas, reaching the most difficult corners. Attaching the sanding sheet to the delta sander is easy with the ingenious hook & loop system.
Tip: Simply rotate the sanding sheet on the delta sander if one corner gets heavier wear than the others.
