MENZER Black – Perfect for mineral-based materials
MENZER Black features the extremely hard and sharp-edged silicon carbide grit, which makes it an abrasive that is optimally suited for the sanding of mineral-based materials like natural stone and plaster. Hard-cured varnishes are also no match for MENZER Black.
The special MENZER AntiStat process prevents static charges during sanding. As a result, sanding dust accumulation on the surface of the abrasive is greatly reduced. Which, in turn further increases the service life of the abrasive. MENZER Black is available for tool-based and manual sanding applications.

Auf jeden Fall die schönste Verpackung, die ich je für Schleifscheiben gesehen habe :-)Abgesehen davon tun sie das, was sie versprechen, schleifen sehr gut und haben eine lange Standzeit.Bin sehr zufrieden damit.

Sehr gute Leistung
Die Scheibe hat eine sehr gute Schleifleistung, ist aber von der Klettbeschichtung so dick, dass unser Lux Exzenterschleifer "Ufos" produzierte, d. h. die Schleifscheibe löste sich während des Einsatzes vom Teller. Auf einem nachgekauften Bosch Exzenterschleifer hielten sie dagegen tadellos.
Erwartungen erfüllt
Ich habe Terrassenplatten aus Beton mit Hockdruck gereinigt und wollte die rauhe Oberfläche glätten. Dazu eignen sich Diamant-Pads oder Klettscheiben mit Siliziumcarbon. Bei Diamant-Pads wird eine Standzeit von ca. 5qm angegeben. Weil man für 1 Diamant-Pad 50 Siliziumcarbonscheiben erhält, habe ich mich für zweitere entschieden. Die Standzeit würde ich mit 1 qm angeben (nur trocken verwenden). Die Schleifgüte ist excellent und entspricht meinen Erwartungen. Begonnen habe ich mit K80, dann K120 und am Ende K180. Als Gerät benutze ich einen Profi-Excenterschleifer mit Drehzahleinstellung. Oft werden dafür Autopoliermaschinen empfohlen. Davon rate ich ab, weil man eine Poliermaschine immer im richtigen Winkel halten muss. Ein Excenterschleifer dagegen erledigt die Arbeit fast wie von selbst, weil er von alleine auf dem Schleifgut stehen bleibt.
